- With the passing of Proposition C, the voters of San Diego elected to split the Auditor and Comptroller's Office into two separate offices: the Office of the City Auditor and the Office of the City Comptroller, effective July 1, 2008.

Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Hotline
The Hotline was established to provide individuals a way to confidentially report evidence of fraud, waste or abuse involving City of San Diego employees or operations.
