The Government Efficiency and Openness Committee's (GE&O) Area of Responsibility included, but was not limited to, The Ralph M. Brown Act, Permanent Rules of Council, Public Records Act, Community Right to Know, Accuracy of Government Information, Citizen's Right to Know, Consumer Protection, Efficiency and Effectiveness of Government Services and Annual Budgetary Issues.
