Housing and Sustainable Buildings Expedite Program.

Affordable/In-Fill Housing and Sustainable Buildings Expedite Program. This Policy describes expediting the development review process, defines those projects that qualify for expedited permit processing, and prioritizes projects in the event the expedite program's carrying capacity is exceeded.

- The Sustainable Buildings Expedite Program, Council Policy 900-14 (PDF)
This Council Policy is entitled The Sustainable Buildings Expedite Program, and describes expedited permit processing for sustainable buildings. Sustainable buildings utilize alternative energy resources and technologies such as photo voltaic to generate up to 100% of the electricity needed by the building and its occupants.
- Affordable Housing Task Force Report
This is the final report from the Affordable Housing Task Force. The Affordable Housing Task Force was established by the City Council, and was formed in order to address local affordable housing needs for the City of San Diego. The purpose of the Task Force was to identify areas of change that would result in an increase in the City's affordable housing stock.
- Deviations for Affordable/In-Fill Housing Projects (PDF: 45K)
Land Development Code Section 143.0910 allows affordable/in-fill housing projects to deviate from the development regulations of the Land Development Code through a Process Four Site Development Permit.
