Like no other city in America, San Diego has a place that has become a
focal point for celebrations, stimulation of the mind and an inspiration
for the heart. It's a place our City has gone when it wanted to make a
statement to the world. It is often where families go for their most
personal celebrations.
The Balboa Park Endowment Fund was established under the auspices of The
San Diego Foundation by the Arthur and Jeanette Pratt
Foundations and California First Bank (now Union Bank) to enhance our
beautiful park. Since then, many other donors have contributed or
established new funds.
