The San Diego Library Endowment Fund is in reality a number of funds established to address
particular needs of the Main Library and its 35 branches.
The San Diego Library, through its many branches, its programs, and services, is a major source of
both cultural and educational strengths in the community.
Some of the funds are part of and administered by The San Diego Foundation. While others
are within the City of San Diego Funds Commission's responsibility.
