CERT SAN DIEGO training and presentations
CERT academies, sponsored by the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, train citizens to become Disaster Service Workers. But we are taking the show on the road! In honor of National Disaster Preparedness Month, San Diego CERT is taking its academy out of the training facility and into your community! We are currently identifying locations and organizations around the City of San Diego to host two-hour presentations of skills and techniques taught in our academies. See how everyday items can be used to save lives after a disaster strikes. Learn how to provide first aid to the critically injured. Find out if you have what it takes to put out a small fire.
